We are excited to announce that the next FCC monthly dinner will be on Tuesday, September 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Mike Linnig's Seafood Restaurant. For those of you that have been there, you know what a great setting their outdoor garden will be for our gathering. We will reserve all the picnic tables around the playground so the kids can play and have fun while all of us parents socialize. A lot of people even like to bring their own table cloth to use on the picnic tables. When you get there just go to the playground area and a server will take your order. If you are not fond of seafood then don't worry, they have plenty of other items such as; chicken, burgers, grilled cheese and salads. I have put a link to their menu at the bottom of this email. Please note that we will still have the dinner there even if it rains. We will just move inside to their north dining room if that happens.
The restaurant is very easy to find. Just take Gene Snyder Freeway from I-65 and head toward Dixie Highway. As you cross over Dixie it turns into Green belt Hwy but you still want to continue on straight toward Riverport. At the second stop light you will see a gas station on the left. Turn left there and as you go around the corner you will see the restaurant about 1/4 mile down on the left. Now if you are coming from the Watterson Expressway then just take Cane Run Rd South for about 7 or 8 miles until you will see a sign reading Gene Snyder Freeway 2 miles. You will then notice a gas station on the right. Turn right there and as you go around the corner you will see the restaurant about 1/4 mile down on the left. I have attached a link to their website in this email so you can see a map of how to get there. Their rule for groups is that gratuity will automatically be added to your ticket so you don't need to double tip your servers. We hope to see all of you out there for this fun time!

On Sunday October 3, FCC will be hosting their Autumn Moon Festival at Gallrein Farms on 1029 Vigo Road in Shelbyville, KY. It will go from 3:30 pm until dusk.
The activities will include the petting zoo, corn maze, pumpkin picking, dinner, tattoos/face painting, balloon release, lantern parade and family fun. Be sure to sign your entire family up for this fun event!
